Being fully alive means engaging both internal and external responses. 
I am compelled to fuse the intensity of awareness and imagination and  
to release it into form.

My art is motivated by memory; the ability to process past all the 
conditions of experience in order to arrive at an essential truth.

The use of allegory allows me to unravel, rearrange, erase,  and 
appropriate  imagery in order to regain or arrive at a kind of presence 
that is both seen and unseen, specific and universal.
